Sign Petition to Ban GPS Collared Hound Hunting of Deer
California Fish and Game Commission are considering an amendment to Mammal Hunting Code of Regulation 265. This would allow the use of GPS collars on hounds while hunting deer, pigs and for training purposes.
Aside from the blood bath that ensues from hounds tearing into the deer (an agonizingly painful death), the use of GPS collars in hunting would also naturally disrupt other wildlife and their habitat. They could also give poachers an advantage as the GPS would show them where bears, bobcats, mountain lions and other wildlife may be trapped.
